Just had this diagnosed...tried to blag but alas...£430.00 bill for new compressor, bracket and labour Big Cry

Thats why the guy on the Land Rover Experience afternoon I went on said "If you get a puncture, call Land Rover Assistance" then.

Call LRA for a puncture? When I can have the pleasure of seeing a Highway Womble's face when they find me with the D3 up on the Takla at the side of the road? Laughing
 I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'd double check that. I broke the bracket (into little bits Crying or Very sad ) and bent the mounting lugs on the compressor which in turn was making a horrible noise. LR replaced the bracket, straightened the lugs and remounted the compressor for AUD$500.

Picked the car up today, new compressor and bracket (i took the cover off to check Thumbs Up )
