Sorry to hi jack this thread - but I have the TV functions, but as already mentioned in a previous thread the audio signal is rubbish and clipped. I love the idea of the TV function as I spend a lot of time working out on the road so for lunch times and breaks it would be a god send - but it is unwatchable at the moment.

So been a while since I posted on here. Thought instead of starting a new thread about the same thing I would just bring this one back to life.
A quick update;
I got a Nav.tv system installed into my disco, it loops into the head unit and gives it the option to select TV.
I had digital TV and ipod video connection which was awesome for about 2 weeks….
After a few weeks of loving life the car started throwing up some problems, first thing I thought was that nav.tv was playing up but after speaking to people I was lead to believe that those head units are known to overheat and that was the problem. So brought it to Land Rover to get it checked out etc. After a week they said, "are you aware there is an aftermarket device installed." Couldn't believe it took them a week to work that out, whats worse is that I told them it was there when leaving the car off lol. Anyway after £90 for diagnostics they said it't most likely the head unit and it needs replaced for £500.
I didn't want to jump into that so I had a look myself, the aftermarket device was right beside the heatsink so I moved it. Same problem, the head unit kept saying, "system fault, shutting down".
So I was about to bite the bullet and pay £500 for a new head unit, just before I was going to do it I thought, "I might as well try to unplug the TV myself and see if it makes a difference"…. It has worked ever since.
So I went to the people that did it with the unit taken out and said that it doesn't work, I need a new one. Got a new one and fitted it myself. Not only did it not work correctly (no picture, only sound) but within minutes all my off road settings decided to stop working again!
Im going back this week but I think this nav.tv is a lost cause
Anyone have a OEM system for sale? I can't find them anywhere! Or any advise from fellow disco owners that would know more than me would be most welcome.
Thank you,
Lighter.

So my question is what will I need from the donor vehicle to make the tv work in mine? And the locations of the parts ? I’ve already changed the screen and stereo from the donor vehicle, any help will be appreciated

IMHO TV is a waste of time, you just cannot watch it, stationary with engine off max you can watch it is 5 minutes before the low battery warning comes on, two minutes later everything shuts down.
It shuts down automatically at over 5mph.
Only time you can watch it if you are in a traffic jam with the engine running and SS is switched off.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
