Help identify 18" 6 spoke wheel
Hello all,
I'm looking to pick up some 18" rims for off-road use. I came across a set of used ones. The seller says they are 18" and off an LR3. It may have been a V6. I thought I saw a reference somewhere to a 6-spoke 18" being a stock V6 LR3 rim but, but I cannot recall where, and I cannot find it again. I am hoping you all can shed some light on the subject.
Ultimately I'm trying to determine if it will fit on an '06 V8 LR3? My concern is the 6-spoke 18" doesn't seem to have been an option on the V8.

They are "Comet" style alloys from a Discovery 2 - never fitted to (and will not fit) an LR3/D3.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

As far as I know the minimum OEM wheel size to fit the V8's brakes is 18".06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Thank you Martin. I had looked at the page you linked and the fact that these rims were not on there was one of my reasons for concern.
My research also leads me to believe rims smaller than 18 will not fit over the V8 brakes. Since these are 18s, and seller claims they came off an 05 LR3 I had hope. I am hoping to find a good set of spare rims for offroading.
