Fuel door sticking
Just went to fill up and the fuel door is sticking, now I have to push harder and a few times for it to open. Should I lubricate it with something? Has anyone had this issue?

Had this a while ago, tried WD40 and it seems to have cured it, sprayed on the outside of the lock and drenched the inside. Followed it up with a thicker handy home oil ( three in one ).
Found some info on the forum, try searching for fuel flap.
I'm sure you know but if it happens again, hold the flap gently closed to free the pin, lock then unlock the car from the remote and it should pop open.Gone but far from forgotten 55' plate HSE.
Replaced by Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Mine is the wrong way round, locked when the car is unlocked and unlocked when the car is locked.
Work that one out?????You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

I just filled my latch with white spray grease, it's not happened again
