alternativly if you buy a www.safefill.co.uk cylinder you can refill it even if its still got gas in it
they sell them at Cribbs opposite the shell garage (Andys Gas) Duncan

yes its standard LPG / autogas.
not all filling stations allow filling - however, they cant always tell until its too late 
they can be filled in france / spain as well - they don't seem so bothered as UK stations . and there are lots of LPG filling places around the uk, in addition to the Forecourt petrol stations - plus the cost of the LPg is a fraction of what it costs to fill a CalorGas container Duncan

Good idea. Is LPG Butane or Propane, any experience of using it with BBQ or camping cookers etc?

a mix
in winter they tend to be more propane mix and in summer more butane mix.
yes, I use two of these in my expedition trailer and transfer them over for use in the caravan. they take standard propane regulators Duncan
