there seems to be quite a bit of variations between site
don't know why they wont accept cylinders in though as long as they are "household waste" as think there is a national arrangement for all sites to get them removed from them, so no reason not to take them...
end of the day they either say yes or no, it may get you a spare or get rid of your spares
and once you have bought the re-fillable ones that's it no more spares required. Transit! 2019

Go to your local tip and give them a drink for an empty cylinder then take it to any calor gas supplier and change it for any size cylinder you like, it doesn't have to be like for like.
