ah RonP A thread all for me.....
Today's step forward was to sign the finance paperwork & send it all off. Couldn't get out of the BoScotland deal which whilst still pretty good, wasn't quite as good as Kam's deals.
Another step in the protection of my new baby was the purchase of Nick's boot Liner
So I'm just carrying around my landrover keyring waiting for something worthy to go on them (Like a set of LandRover keys!)
Thanks for the reminder about the Dealer sticker, I'll give them a call now to make sure it doesn't get stuck on!
The Disco3 stickers have been in the study and waiting for weeks now, they're ready to be applied in (I hope) about 164 hours. Provided it gets delivered by 12 that is!
Another update to the delivery tomorrow! Bodsys Brake Bible

When I took delivery of mine, not knowing all your goodselves, I'd never given rearscreen damage a thought.
Oddly enough they hadn't stuck one on ... ANYWHERE !!!
either Very Aware or just Muppets missing out on a marketing opportunity.
Methinks it was the latter. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

My 'Guy Salmon ' sticker was on the outside in the same place as my D3 sticker is now. It was cut-vinyl lettering too!
I asked them to remove it before delivery day.
The bloke said no problem as most people ask for it to be removed!
Their advertising is on the reg plate anyway.
I think it only fair to let them as they have done my cherished number plates F.O.C. Back in the game!

Thought I'd give the DiamondBrite one a go. See what it's like on the Merc before applying to the Disco. Relatively cheap if you do it yourself. e-Bay has loads of the packs, but you just need to check if it's old stock or not really.
I'll post an update once it's done.
Still thinking about the 3M stuff as well for the bits that will get stone chipped. Although I'll be having a look at the Disco's in the car park on 4th March to see if they really do get chipped much or not.
I'll let you know how it goes! Bodsys Brake Bible

Well, the DiamondBrite seemed to go on pretty easily. Part one is very easy to apply, very thin fluid which just needs a light coat.
Leave it for a few minutes to haze (don't remove part 1 yet & then apply part two. Again, goes on easily, but the mixture has a fine cutting compound, so it warns you not to apply with too much pressure as you'll get swirl marks in the finish. Apply in a straight line (as opposed to rubbing it in)
Leave it for about 10 minutes or so until that hazes & then just wipe the lot off. Used three polishing cloths to make sure it wasn't clogged. Initial results look pretty good, but only time can tell I guess.
Claybar'd the bottom of the doors as there was some in-ground dirt & it's makes a huge difference.
Anyway, Rugby about to kick off (sorry Scotland, but Italy!!!!!! )
just started raining & SWMBO gone to collect eldest from Dancing, so we'll see what it looks like when she gets back! Bodsys Brake Bible
