West coast of Scotland, Tiree & Fortwilliam
Well i'm delayed going back out to the Middle East and wife is off as of this evening for over a week so decided to pack up the wagon and go for a trip out.
We have our eye on the Isle of Tiree so having to do some time and distance appreciation regarding trip up to catch ferry. I've been to Tiree only once and that was with the Army almost 10 years ago but I always remember how beautiful the island was with the whitest beaches and the bluest oceans around it
Apparently they now have a proper campsite on the island but we are more looking towards a spot of wild camping with a nice fire going with the sun setting on the western ocean
Will let you know how we get on and if anyone is out and about give us a wave

There are a couple of campsites on the island now, still nice to use the one in Scarinish, close t'pub and there are loos! Once camped right up at Happy Valley (Port Snoig on the map) beautiful sunsets! We take the kids there every year, they love it.
If your heading for the beach over the dunes in the Disco, things have changed a hell of a lot over the last ten years with the influx of "New White Settlers" who have fenced off and all but excluded tourists from some of the best beaches on the island
Still the best of the West Coast though
