2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3
BAS remap

Well ive had my BAS remap for a week now mmmm
It drives better more smoothly ,,,, picks up quicker
and surprisingly the MPG is far better ,,
I went for a torque / power remap
I used to only get 23 mpg on the clock
Now its reading 34 And im driving lead footed
ive reset the mpg clock many times before and since
SO am i happy ????????????????

Sounds great on the mpg if the reading is accurate. Mine is certainly quicker and smoother but I'm only getting 23mpg. It's mostly urban to be fair with only a couple of 10 mile trips on the A3 at speed.

I didn't realise there was a choice of remap. Perhaps I've got one that improves acceleration only. Either that or I'm driving a lot more lead-footed than you Wink

Well done chap Exclamation never had more than 25mpg out of mine, driving like miss Daisy! around 20ish mark normaly, when the mood takes me around 16 Rolling Eyes

As an aside, as a Apple Mac user, does anyone know if this software runs in a VirtualBox Window XP application? I've successfuly run other windows software but before splashing the cash want to check.....

Do NOT trust the dash display for MPG - calculate it for a true figure.
Whilst there are a (very) few D3s with accurate trip computers the majority are overly optimistic. Mine reads between 4 and 6MPG over actual MPG.
