I have a 2006 Disco3 and need to source a timing belt kit for it. I have been given a Gates part number of K015624XS which I'm led to believe is the correct kit and yet when I ring Gates Technical they assure me they do not do a kit for mine.
Does anyone know what the OE make is for a genuine Landrover kit and what kits has other forum members used

Dayco is OE
That Gates ref would contain the correct belt (5624XS) The kit K015624XS is listed for other applications (PSA 2.7) will get the kit contents list and come back to you in a mo.
The gates kit contains:
5624XS FRONT BELT NO L/R REF despite being catalogued for the vehicle
5625XS REAR BELT
T43199 TENSIONER L/R REF LR006526
T43200 TENSIONER NO L/R REF
T42233 PULLEY L/R REF 1311306
So I am not sure if Gates have delisted this kit for the L/R as the contents may have been updated but it is still listed for the same engine in Citroen, Peugeot and the Jag so doesn't figure - anyway if you haven't bought yet get the Dayco kits (one for the front and one for the rear) thus avoiding any issues should they go wrong Paul Redding
