Fault Code B1212

Well I must have made a cardinal sin and moved the drivers seat forwards (Loaded some stuff to take to the tip!)
I think the D3 is fantastic but really? Move the seat and a fault comes up that I cant get rid of!!

Anyone else had the B1212 fault? have looked around and there is some info but doesn't seem to be too common?

Any help / advice appreciated?

The fault codes are coming up quicker than I can knock them down! - just finished stripping and splitting and rebuilding the EPB module (But on the plus side it is whisper quiet now!)

Was just about to move onto the C1A20 compressor fault but got this new one now!!!!

The joys of Land Rover ownership - its all coming back to me now!!!!

BTW - first ever post so if something wrong / in wrong area my apologies but be gentle with the newbie?

Hello and welcome !!

B1212 : Driver Safety belt buckle pretensioner deployment control

I suspect in moving the seat about you have upset one of the plugs under the seat.
Probably the one that is connected to the pretensioner Laughing

They tend to be fastened to the seat frame or it may have just got trapped...take a look Thumbs Up
 Cheers Ian

Excellent thank you for the replies - I did have a quick look under the seat and was quite surprised at how easily the cables could catch on the fins of the amp (?) under there!

Did just make me smile to think I had pushed the vehicle to its limits by moving the seat!!

Thanks for the replies will have a look and a fiddle and see what happens!

Will keep you posted!

OK so I took the seat out completely, more because I could than I needed too I guess - but like to have a look round and check everything else as well! Even hoovered the top of the heat sink under the seat! Found a few loose fitttings and one of the cable clips binding on the wiring harness under the seat so sorted that and replaced everything and now all good again - Result!

Also changed the oil while on a roll - very satisfying pouring 5 litres of brand new top quality oil into the engine with new filter and seals!!! Very satisfying!

Would be nice if I had an oil coloured drive way though then wouldn't have to spend half an hour with the cleaning solution and scrubbing brush afterwards! (Even though had an oil catch container and a pice of carpet underneath that!!!!)
