Missing engine sump plate
After a great days leaning at Kielder 4x4 safari I was cleaning the motor and found my engine sump guard was missing! I'm thinking there are too many fixings on it to have fallen off so its either been nicked or left off after the last time it was in the garage.
If I need to buy a replacement does anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks.

Can you get a metal bash plate one instead? I have found the one for my FF seems to be a lot better in general use for washing never mind anything else and cost will likely be nearly the same unless you find one from a breaker FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

Is the metal sump guard or the plastic transmission shield?
I doubt you'd rip the sump plate off without noticing it.....
However, the plastic trans shield you can - I'd done it myself off-roading as have a few others.
Have a look online for the various aftermarket plates - I've got them and am really pleased.
Failing that the OEM ones aren't that expensive.I see no ships........

Been back to my local garage and they swear they never removed it for any of the work they carried out. It looks like its been taken as all the screws are missing and no broken parts left.
Gonna have to start looking for a new part.
I would prefer heavier duty, gonna have to start saving again.
