Another double/megaflush question

With the now confirmed wrong oil in my gearbox (IYK500010 instead of TYK500050 or STC4863), I will have to re-visit (and stay to check what's been done) the local dealership on Monday. Banging Head Evil or Very Mad

I'm now going through the 10s of posts on DIY methods for this, but I understand there's an "official" work process from LR on this; could someone please point me in the direction of said technical bulletin?

How detrimental would it be to drive the car for say 200miles with the wrong oil in it? (need to be somewhere over the weekend and taxi is the only other alternative - at a reasonably high cost)

Thanks!

Hi
Don't know about any potential damage from the wrong oil but the oil could be drained and refilled a couple of times relatively quickly I changed mine in an hour

Will do ollram, as you can imagine very Censored at LR over here...

Barnie thanks Thumbs Up , had spotted this link, but the one I'm after and can't for the love of me find anymore, is one where mention of an official LR procedure for the double-flush and mega-flush was made (the link in the thread you mention only has the procedure for what we know is a partial re-fill)

I would've loved to shove the instructions in their face TBH, but at least they only charged me for 4lt of the WRONG oil... To top things, they also punctured my rear tyre driving over a large nail/washer - they repaired it with a special "string" (that's what they call it here) and advised to "check the pressure every time you fill up" Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored
