I have not joined this group by as mine is an 08, however it would be good to get some feed back on whether or not you get a whistle from the exhaust with the CAT removed.
I ask as this may be a project for the future but do not want a whistling exhaustIn Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar

I'm sure the others that have met Andrew will agree, he is an absolutely lovely guy who produces A1 products. All designed in-house and manufactured from scratch, not just bought in from China. The problem he faces is that the products they produce are so popular, his workshop is at 100% output all of the time. As others have said, bear with him, he will reply, he's one of the good guys
Mine doesn't whistle - not sure where that idea came from to be honest - unless you mean the turbo spooling up - in which case, yes you can hear it, but its not intrusive and you really have to listen for it - in other words, it is not a noise than does your head in. And it quickly goes away when it goes out of the range of human hearing Mark.

I got a gasket. The old one was actually fine (It had only been on a few thousand miles though!)Mark.

Definately no gaskets , my two were wrapped together in plastic film.
Will see what state mine is when I get it off.
Removal of the decat at a later date should be easy due to access being so much better without the cat in way.Procrastination is the thief of time!!

I have phoned him. No answer. Also emailed. Just been down to the garage. There going to take it off and heat the box pipe up and put the old pipe on and waggle it to try and make it bigger. They have increase the cuts to try and get it on. Can't wait for a replacement. Need the D3 for work. The cat is on 2 bits so that can't go back on.With a few Mods.
