I need to speak to Martin but he's not online. Thought would be to offer trees / carbon offset through the Disco3 shop at cost plus Disco3 donation. I'll plant them and "owners" can visit or plant when they want. I need to check it's OK with Martin and make sure that planting them on my land doesn't trigger any tax problems. The Disco3 nature reserve sounds quite good ( and even better in a V8 I'm sure).

Could you ask about an Australian ''branch''?
We would grow gum trees and willow, sorry carbon fibre, trees for our cricket bats.

Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Its a great idea - but doeas that mean by association we are admitting that our D3's have a greater environmental impact than other vehicles?

No, it means we'd (well, "you'd" since I don't have a 4x4 yet...) be actually be doing something positive for the environment instead of annoying everyone that doesn't agree with us by sticking slices of dead tree complimenting them on their poor choices of vehicles to their windscreens. Whew, that's a long sentence.
Also, after planting a tree, you could put an "I plant trees, what do you do?" sticker in your car window, that's sure to get their backs right up.
