D3 TD6 Auto 55 plate advice on possible purchase

Hi all

I am a newcomer to this site and first post was last night. Thanks for all thebsound advice i received regarding
possible purchase of hi spec Auto D3. I have decided not to go for it as the garage would not budge on price, so walked away ....Now looking at a D3, 55 plate with 85,000 mileage. Again this the auto version TDV6 but lower spec inside the cab. has a great Rimini red finish and it does have air suspension. There is a towbar fitted and it has dink to bumper. The private seller has full service history and is asking 10K. Please advise on price against this mileage and what I should look out for at test drive. By the way, air compressor was changed recently but cam belts have not been replaced. Your advice would be greatly appreciated

The price sounds about right for a private sale with the belts one, I would want 1k off the asking price and then find a good iny to do the belts and give it a good once over.
Just check all the buttons and switches work as they should and listen for any noises from the suspension.
I'm sure someone more technical than me will be along shortly with better advice. Displaced Yorkshireman.

SDV6 Auto obviously, Loire blue/Ebony, ugly kid glass, RLD wheel protector, private plate and maybe side steps.

As above, belts should have been replaced before selling so ask for money off to compensate. Good luck Thumbs Up
