2011 D4 Sat Nav

Just had the ''available'' upgrade done for the princely sum of £199.01 - I can not see any difference to the operating system so I assume it just updated maps.

NOTE this is the 2010/11 HDD Sat Nav.

Anyone else ahd it done or know exactly what I have got for my £199.01 ?? LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

As far as I'm aware there has not been an upgrade ...

I would be interested to see what version you have ... You can find it in the sat nav settings G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

www.navigation.com indicated that an upgrade was ready for our 2011 D4 Sat Nav - which it should be as the mapping was at least two years old - I checked with Beadles and they confirmed this - so as we are off on a two month tour of Europe shortly I decided to ''bite the bullet'' and have it done - this happened yesterday.

Expensive yes but there is no other way of updating the mapping on the 2010/2011 HDD system that I have been able to find.

I feel that there has been a minor change to the operating system as I have found a new (to me) screen layout when following a route - I have not yet done enough driving and/or playing with the Sat Nav since yesterday to really say what changes there are BUT if I do find any I will let you know. LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF
