While cournering at any sort of speed (40+) the ETC comes on on what feels like the outside (of the courner)frount wheel and the indicator light flashes amber. First feeling is that the front dif is somehow not working correctly?
Any other suggestions?
Cheers

Soft tyre
Steering wheel sensor lost its calibration (especially after a wheel alignment)
Worn wheel bearingMy D3 Build Thread
To all, thanks
Pressures ok,
Steering wheel sensor could be a contender it's going in tomorrow for a tyre and wheel balancing so I'll get that checked.
Morgis - thanks I had a search but came up with nothing, did you ever resolve yours?

not yet. I do got some faulty bushings, so the problem might lay there..
But now, in -20 degree, it is way too cold for me to even think about changing them - My 2006 D3 HSE PP

I had the same problem post getting lots of bushes changed, 4 wheel alignment sorted it. I remembered reading that the Sat Nav could plot the vehicles location from wheel rotation..... I went into the sat nav and told it I had fitted new tyres, this did seem to resolve the issue for a week or so.

I had the same problem. First checked the steering sensor- then realised I had a badly worn wheel bearing which I replaced. It was only after discovering there was a slow leak in my left rear tyre that the problem went away.
Small pressure difference 1.7 bar vs 2.3 on the other side was enough to throw it out.
Wondering if this has more to do with a smaller diameter of a flat tyre rather than the sideways body roll of the vehicle?
