Are there different Satellite Navigation models Globally
Recently shipped my 2009 HSE LR3 (disco 3) from Dubai to UK, and have driven it to Spain. Purchased the European Navigation discs, set the infotainment to Europe with my black box MSV2 ……Sat Navs will not work, cannot find map source data?
Both worked perfectly in Dubai! Local Land Rover dealer here in Spain says I need to replace the Navigation system?
Are there different Satellite Navigation models for different global locations?

DVD drives (ie films) have regions coded into them... might be relevant here?

If you still have your UAE DVd does it work when you put that back in?

Just inserted the UAE map, appears to work but unable to find local roads etc, if I insert the Western Europe discs (I have 2 sets) then no map data!LandyDubai

ISTR someone else had this issue few years ago taking a middle east car to Germany. I can't remember it getting resolved.

You might have to get a european region dvd reader that sits under the passenger (Left hand in uk) seat.
Here is one, interesting because the seller says its for sale because the vehicle is being exported, and it won't work where its going. You might want to ask him if its going to UAE!
