England 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Adriatic BlueDiscovery 3

All done with my new flushing kit
1. Cheap ebay purge gun
2. 19mm Id clear hose x4 metres

You need an air tank for this to work and the cheap gun flows water continually the trigger just pulses the air. I would have preferd it if yhe trigger pulsed wster and air but its a cheap tool. The more expensive ones pulse both on the trigger.

Job done nice hot air from the passenger vents.

Hi pigeon. Did you get any info on your interior heating prob?

Hi Rocksteadee,

I openned the hoses in the engine compartment. Cycle water and then air backwards and then forwards for a few times. I collected the outlet into a bucket. The was not so much dirt getting out.

Flushed the cleaning water a last time with compressed air, but the hoses back in place. Started the engine, purged the cooling fluid.

Now, it heats correctly.

Thanks for the advices !!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Used the above flusher, only just got around to it as the noise from the passenger seat got too loud.
Probably no more scale than a table spoon but heating now works and the passenger seat noise has quietened down
