Hi,
I have the offer of a set of range rover stormer alloy with 275/40/20 continental tyres (4mm).
The look to be genuine however is there a way for me to confim this.
Also how long is 4mm tread going to last me will this be ok fo the winter?
Will this go straght on my disco3?
Not a fan of skinny profile tyres whats the norm with the profile on wheels of this size? I would prefer a set of A/T tyres for a more off road look.
Also whats should I be paying for these wheels, just a couple of kerb marks nothing major.

Ok - if genuine alloys they will have the land rover logo cast into the back of one of the spokes, along with a weight rating of 900kg and an ET 53 (offest number)
If they have 275/40 tyres fitted, these are incorrect size for the D3 (should be 275/45/20's, and will also have a lower weight rating possibly 109, but may be as low as 103, you dont be to be lower than 110, and ideally 111), so to be honest, ditch the tyres anyway with 4mm.
These on 20's over the winter - you may as well fit ice stakes.
If you want the 20's, they will go staight on, but look to fit a set of 275/45x20 Grabber AT's or Cooper LTZ's
If the wheels are in good nick, ignore the tyres, approx 300 quid.

Any idea how much grabbers all round would be on the 20" stormers

if you can get him down to 250, take them if they are a clean tidy set - ask site sponsor Andy about tyre prices. I would have thought 700ish for a set of 275/45 latest Grabber AT's.

Hi,
He wouldnt go any less than £325, I will probaly just leave them as by the time I tidy them up and get tyres Im looking at 1k seen second hand packages coming up cheaper than that.

If you are on the look out for 275/45x20 General AT tyres I can do these for £638.40 inc vat for four, carriage depends on post code.
