OK, silly question time, presumably said wheel has cruise and stereo controls on it?
What is extra work is involved in fitting a heated one?
Thanks Tony

TLO fancy a heated one depending on the price. Also, any chance of doing another fridge group buy at some point, hot hands and cold beer (when the wife is driving)
Can anyone tell me if, and how, you wire the heated steering wheel up in a 05 SE.

May also need an Air Bag Tool to change your steering wheel
over once you've received it.
Luckily I still have a few available

Many thanks Bodsy for the quick reply. Seems that the price of the clockspring is about £190 + £40 for the switch I think a pair of gloves will be cheaper.

For those enquiring ref to heated wheel this is what i can do
Wheel £207.18
Clock Spring £194.04
Switches £48
for pre 08 you'll need 2 switches...for post 08 you only need the 1 switch
so for 08 on £449

The 2 switches for pre 07, do they replace the single large PTI button with a small PTI & heated wheel?
I've been meaning to to the heated wheel mod for the last few years, no use putting it off any longer, looks like we need a heated wheel option in the sign up.........

Yes, the voice input button will be spilt so same size but two buttons
the reason on the 08 07 difference is earlier has a different switch plate colour so you'll need both to match but 08 on the heated switch gear will match the rh TLO has left the building.......

Hi - I'd still like to put my name down for a replacement sterring wheel, however, because I'm not sure if I have the necessary switches and string, I'll take a rain-check on the heated one. Ta! Previous cars

Think I'll stick to the standard one as well. The difference of £364 for a heated steering wheel can get you lots of pairs of heated gloves 8)
