My microSDHC card is empty - reads & writes okay, but the Blackvue.exe file (and I don't know what others) is missing.
I can find the firmware upgrade and card formatter on Pittasoft's website, but no Blackvue.exe. Anyone know of a link to it?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Wiggs -
but I just found out you need to initialize it first by powering up the BlackVue, and then all the files get copied onto the card from the camera

MarsKy - Just in case you need it.
http://www.blackvue.co.kr/en
The latest firmware is available for download.
Fitted mine this morning and the length of the power cable for the cigar lighter connection is plenty long enough. I routed it along the top of the driver's side windscreen down the A pillar and down the side of the dash trim, under the steering wheel and in the gaps between the dash and centre console to the cigar lighter. There is still about a yard of spare which I coiled up and stuffed in a small gap beside the steering column. I used one of the stick on clips to hold the cable where it exits the camera upwards to the headlining. All the cable except that short section is out of sight ( I poked into the various slots and gaps with a blade screwdriver wrapped in masking tape)
It'll do until I get the power supply thingy.
I hope that helps.
Amazing quality by the way. We've been into Exeter and back this morning and was a good movie to watch on return.

Thanks Bill.
I decided to do a 360 mile round trip to Blackburn today to buy a Brenderup 1250S trailer. So gave the BlackVue its first real trial.
M6 was like a swimming pool and so dark with rain and spray that the high beam assist wanted to come on.
But it gave up a warning message saying the assist wouldn't come on as the sensor was blocked (by the BlackVue).
So just a note for others to watch where you position the BlackVue.
Now, 7 hours of motorway driving to review...

So, the supplied 16GB card (14.8GB formatted) allowed 98 x 3 minute MP4 files (4hrs 54 mins) to be recorded at full HD 1920x1280 @ 30fps before it started overwriting the earliest files.
Bright days came out very well, and night shots were surprisingly good. Where it struggles is changing contrast like driving down tree lined roads where the light constantly changes.
Need to tweak some settings to see if I can improve on things.
But very happy with it

Hi Marsky,
Where did you have the BlackVue positioned when you got this message?
Cheers,

Bri - it was flush with the plastic at the bottom of the mirror.
And the D4 manual says "Ensure that the sensor on the back of the rear view mirror is not blocked or obstructed."
Not that high beam assist is that great anyway - it always seems to assist in blinding an oncoming car at some point.

Bill
Is this an issue with the BV.
I get the contrast changing, but even when it's parked up?
It'll change contrast during a 2 min clip from light to dark.
I was of the thinking there's a problem with mine
[which I think there is because it keeps on recording in Parking mode 24/7] ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Cheers Ian,
both units and controllers arrived today and thanks for the sweets
Also received 2 of the mini blade piggy back fuse holders that ronp mentioned in one of the other threads about the cameras (thankfully both cars use the same type of fuses), just got to fit them now. Also want to get a couple of 32mb cards, need to find out what speed of card is needed though.
