I just stick it in when I get home from the pumps. Brownian motion and the fuel return system does the rest as the exact proportions is not that critical.
I'd admire those with the discipline to do it at the pumps, but I fall short of that bar.

I use a 500ml pop bottle at the pump. Have also used the castrol 1 ltr bottle, it has a measure on the side so you can put in the required dose give or take a few ml. Never had any spillage issues.

Nigel,
Yes by all accounts and as discovered by some forum members it is down to £2 again in the Garage side of the Tesco stores.
How have you found it BTW ? Any good ?Only dead fish go with the Flow !
One can't give a reasoned answer backed up with cast iron proof.
I think I'm getting something like 1 to 1.5 mpg better fuel consumption, but there are so many other variables.
I think the answer would be apparent from:-
1. The life of the HP fuel pump & injectors
2. The condition of the "internals" of the engine, should I have to strip it - d.v. I won't.
As I have said before I intend to keep the D3 for at least 9 years, so it is molly coddled!
