When you test the FBH with the Faultmate I assumed it was only supposed to run for a couple of minutes?
Yes it runs until the end of the test and should inform you that all was ok.. with the FM.

Marco the only thing I could think of is the air to fuel ratio is wrong with you being that high up and the air is thinner, when you run the test with the webasto software have you tried adjusting the co2 adjuster to see if that helps any just crank it up when its running.

Ok
So I have a problem :I read in the help section of the program ..
Quote:
CO2 adjustment
The heater must be running in regular heating mode in order for a CO2 adjustment to be carried out. The CO2 adjustment is activated using CO2 adjustment in the Calibration menu.
If the function can be carried out, a window appears containing a slider. You can change the setting by moving the slider or entering a number.
Depending on the heater, adjustment is performed by altering the blower speed or changing the metering pump frequency. As a result, increasing the setting increases the CO2 output in some control units, while in other control units increasing the setting reduces the CO2 output.
After changing the setting, wait until the new CO2 value has settled down.
Ok , my FHB can't running , how can I adjust CO2 ?
I 'll go to lower altitude to do some test , my FHB only start in low altitude...........
Need your opinion please.........Marco.

I had no end of trouble with my FBH flaming out after a few minutes (cold days when it should have stayed on).
Eventually I took it to a Webasto specialist, they ran the priming/test program quite a few times - this appears to have cleaned out the burner and it now starts fine, keeps going and gives out much less smoke.
My advice would be to run the priming/test program a number of times - we did it for about an hour!
All that smoke is unburnt fuel which indicates poor combustion. Mine now runs with very little smoke just hot, clear gas (apart from for the first 20secs or so.
Hope that helps?
