Have you got a disco 3 manual g/box model, would you---
Please do a test for me, with regard to the cruise control.
If your on the motorway in 5th gear with cruise engaged, then dip the clutch to change into 6th, does your engine rev up momently, or does the throttle cut immediately you dip the clutch with no increase in revs.
Waiting with baited breath for your results
Revs go up momentarily as you dip the clutch, does it even more so if you are towing...... the engine in under starin and the ECU's are keeping it at speed, you mess this process up by dipping the clutch and it takes a split second to recover from the human interruption, simply press the accelerator and cancel the CC before you change up then press resume -
or buy an auto
Discovery 3/4 & RRS keys cut and programmed at your home or work
Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto retro fit - see it here
BAS Remaps/ EGR Blanking
Software updates/ enabling

yep same as cds s hereDon’t worry it is supposed to sound like that...honest

Me too - momentary increase in revs - same response as the plethora of manual hire cars I've driven with cruise control.

How many revs are we talking about? a slight increase would be normal for a split second or so...My D3 Build Thread

Same changing down of course unless you deactivate the CC first with the brake or steering wheel button.

or operate the throttle pedal first to take over control of the engine speed and the process is smooth.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. if you forget you have cruise control on and dip the clutch going up a steep hill the revs increase a LOT, now I try to always use the cancel buton.
