Is there any interest at any price? I'm struggling to see why it won't shift at all, even rebuilt wrote offs are getting more than this Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Have you played the safety card yet DM?
Surely a picture and the story from DiscoDunc would be enough
to convince her 
AND... you can do everything to the car yourself.
Which will save on any garage costs, maintenance, parts etc.
