Wow thanks -3 pages of replies (and some even relevant!) I've got 4 midgets and it looks a long way up, hence the running boards. at £40k it won't be going off road either. Yes i know, not very adventerous but looking for the best 7 seater and the Disco has it all. Can't blimmin' wait.

Thats what access height is for......honestly, running boards will annoy you eventually.

Back on topic you could try www.drivethedeal.com, you will get a good price take it to your local dealer. They will match it just to get the soft margins and marketing budget type stuff.
I am told they make 10% on a car so if like Bodsy you get 10% discount they are selling at cost. But they get volume incentives etc. I would wait for the last couple of days of the month, quarter or financial year if you want Mats Flaps thrown in.
I bought second hand in the end as I could not justify the price difference, however, I do love the smell of a new car. You will never regret buying one, a fantastic tool.15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver

What I forgot to say was I have also bought a car from drive the deal.
It was a Galaxy for my indoors, they were very good to deal with and the dealer that supplied it were very good.
They offer a very good service, so if you cant do a deal locally which always counts for something, then give them a go The MD was a guy called Richard Sanders I called him as I was very wary car arrived as described and with all the options ordered I was very happy. This was3 years agoand I managed to get a wopping 5k discount on a 23k car at the time dealers were offering me 3k.
My local dealer would happily match them when I was considering a new Disco 3 XS but opted for a used S which is great.
Good Luck, perhaps we could get a group buy on HSE's Andrew can you get a deal 15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver
