BBC Breakfast makes me puke !
Kill Bill !!
Another bout of major 4x4 bashing this morning Even the guy from 'What Car?' who was there to defend us rolled onto his back and more or less allowed the argument to be unchallenged. Marie just informed me of the same article, however she said the vehicles shown were the bling 4x4s not a Land Rover in sight. I know its not much but at least we are not being portrayed as the gas guzzlers. And what I want to know is why was she still watching the TV when she should be working In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

agree - put the food in after the beer - last in, first out no point in wasting good alcohol on the floor (or dogbed eh, Mrs.10? )

maybe just some talc, he'll need it if DG's going to smear him with vomit, first to absorb the moisture content and then perhaps to lessen the impact on the nasal passage.
oh, and it was anthrax

To be honest, if sales are falling then all it will mean is that the folks that don't really need a 4x4 and never go off road have been put off and will buy MPV's etc. So what, the genuine enthusiasts that have been lifelong LR fans etc will carry on buying them.

Same story in Daily Mail today also. Abolute guff. Its so bad, I think it actually plays in our favour. Anyone reading would think that the anti's are really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this.
I sat in my D3 by the road in a layby today, and carried out my own survey. I picked the next 10 cars, 8 were normal cars, 2 were 4x4's.
I could'nt see any of the car drivers hands, as the window lines made it impossible to tell where their hands were, so I presumed they were driving correctly.
Of the two 4x4's, one 4x4 driver had his right arm on the window sill, the other had hands in a 10 to 2 position, so my conlusion is that 50% of 4x4 drivers are indeed bad drivers, normal car drivers are absolutely perfect because I did not see one driver driving one handed, or smoking, or eating , or tuning the radio, or.......
The fact that I could clearly see the 4x4 drivers hands means that the 4x4 does have much better visibility than a normal car, and is indeed safer.
You don't think the survey on Sky and on the news etc. could have possibly found this out, and spun the figures to suit their aims and beliefs do you? no surely not
