Thanks maplecottage, I haven't purchased the MSV2 yet, so just fishing for as much information as possible!
Still trying to work out wether to buy IId or weigh out for an MSV2!

well, you have a 2005 pec, so theres loads of software updates that can be done with the MSV2 that the other tools still cannot do. If it were my money, Id get the MSV2 (oh in fact I did! )Bodsys Brake Bible

The MSV 2 is a powerful tool and in the wrong hands can brick your car... its not just a case of plugging it in and away you go there is a big learning curve and if you are not comfortable working a pc then think hard about using a FM..

It's me that just bought the second hand one.
I need some bits doing and enabling but just can't find the time to get over to see Mr Flack. Thought buying a second hand one I can always shift it on and get my money back if I don't use it.
