I think there was an article in LROI some time back about a DIY change of the HPFP belt - I can't remember which issue though
I had mine changed by a mobile guy who used a mirror - didn't take him long.I see no ships........

4 hours is about the right time if they have not done one before, its not to bad once you have all the bits and bobs out of the way, its not timed so a straight forward job ..just don't drop anything....

Well, i got a phonecall mid afternoon to say they had the wrong belt (wrong year) and wouldn't get the right one til tomorrow - so hopefully they'll bother to fit it
This does of course mean that they'll have the correct belt available for yours!Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Have you checked the fuel gauge sender unit. Had exactly same symptom and message on dash. Diagnosed as running out of fuel yet gauge showed half full ( wifes car btw )
