Switched live by front aux |
|
I do not have a cigarette lighter in my car but 2 aux ports. Neither of which are permenant live.
I was going to splice off one for the DVD player and noticed there is a red and brown wire just held on a plastic clip behind these aux ports. Is this a live wire and if it is, is it switched or live?
Thanks

Red/brown is for dash illumination - probably for the lighter ring when it is fitted. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Now that's useful to know.
I can use that feed to power the illumination LED in my aux Spotlight switch.
