left radio on got a flat battery now have faults

any help, i got a flat battery have charged it up but have faults HDC not working and the Park Distance not working and some times the H/B shows a fault. have done a rest Question

your probably find they are stored faults due to low voltage and comms errors will need to get them cleared IMO where abouts are you in sussex Question

ps how old is the battery

you may need to replace the battery , not saying 100% you would have to but if its the original then its coming up 7 years old according to your profile at least get it checked out Thumbs Up

as for your faults they would need to looked at and cleared you need to find someone with the kit to do that i can but dont get to horsham that often .

If you go for a drive the faults should clear its just your battery is very low, as Goeff says you might need a new one..

i have charged the battery up all night and it showed it was fully charged , but i will go and get it looked at ,just 1 more thing to add to the list , diif is on its way out to oh what fun lol.

More questions than answers.

How do you know it IS fully charged?

Did you disconect the vehicle cables before charging?

Have you used something like a Cetec charger in the recondition mode ?

How clean are the battery terminals?

All can contribute to battery seeming unwilling to charge.

Some chargers do nothing but put 14+ volts across battery.

The Cetec type goes through a sequence of different ways of charging (such as constant current and later constant voltage) to ensure battery is charged to its maximum capacity. Also has a reconditioning charge mode which can often get an ailing battery back to cloae to 100% condition.
