Removal of panel below steering wheel?

Hey guys,

How do I get the cover panel off under the steering wheel? I'm needing to get to the back of the OBD port to see how I can connect my Garmin EcoRoute inside the dash. Also need to find another female ODB port to piggy back on the current one!

Pull hard on the top edge and it pivots towards you, then remove it. The lower edge is held in by tabs in slots, so once the top is released just lift it out.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
