Thanks, mate but had the lot done today (belts, service, MOT) by indy in Chesterfield, Cavendish Motors, £755 the lot. Very friendly & helpful.

Just had a quote from main dealer for £1400 plus vat!! And apparently that includes the sparkplugs (must be some special edition).

Spark plugs on a diesel or is yours a petrol ??. Or did they say glow plugs...

its a diesel and they actually said sparkplugs!! at that point I thanked them and hung up...

Bert, you must have the record for the serrvice quote...nearly 3 grand
does that come with Bugatti veyron courtsey car and 2 nights stay in a 5 star hotel? 
Ebygum - was not keeping up with the posts onthis thread. Wish I had seen your post earlier. No time now to order the idlers from The Large One  how much should they cost fromt eh stealer any idea??

I paid about £85 ish of Nick for idlers x 2 plus new bolts, new water pump vat and p&p. Dealers wanted £40 per idler plus £100 for water pump then vat, but I did not have to pay p&p  Good thing about dealers they were originally quoting £65 to fit them but in the end fitted them for free and even gave old items back so I could check them Goodyear Duratracs
