V8 brake upgrade - worth the extra?

Hi all

MOT passed but an advisory on brake pads and discs.

Nothing major as I only do about 5000 miles a year do at least 6 mths left apparently Smile

Anyways is the V8 upgrade worth the extra £200 ish.

I've a standard D3 diesel not re-mapped

Cheers all

Mark

It does make a difference when pulling up from speed. Less noticeable around town, mind ...

I did this on my old D3, havnt bothered on my newer one.

It does make a difference, but mainly because you've gone from worn discs and pads to a new set. I only noticed the slight change when I had a loaner (standard) D3.

would I do it again - probably not worth the extra cost of the caliper brackets (unless I found some going cheep)
