Any idea where to buy just the connectors though?

These are the connectors I am after - both male and female versions (plug and socket) - pics taken from the forum.

These are 6-way (4 x 1.5mm + 2 x 2.8mm) Sicma Connectors, made by FCI -

Here's their product details document -

They can be sourced from Mouser -

There's a large choice of 1.5mm and 2.8mm terminals available, depending on the terminal’s material and plating.

I couldn’t find a downloadable catalogue for these, but here are the links to their details on the FCI website –

1.5mm

2.8mm

Mouser also stock some of the terminals, the easiest way to find them is to do a –

“Part No. / Keyword (English Only)” search, using the terminal’s FCI part number from the FCI website.

Paul - you are a gem Smile - exactly what I was after - I have been googling various connectors but the information in your links never came up.

I have book marked this and tomorrow (11.30pm here and I need my beauty sleep) I will go go through in detail.

Thanks

Garry

Happy to help

I was browsing this forum looking for something else and saw the pictures in your post.

I was recently asked for the connector on a Freelander 2 in-tank fuel pump/sender unit, and it's the same connector.
