BAS Re-Map Interface "Who's In"
All
I have Just had a lenghty telephone call with site sponsor BAS Bell Auto Services !
There seems to be a second wave owner of D3 owner joining the forum in confused states of awareness surrounding the D3 and all of its perculiarities !
Whilst these cars are very advanced and quite complicated there are people who "Like Me" sometimes struggle with the whys and where fors of it all
Any way the top and bottom is that if we can get X10 Re-Maps together then we can have them at a reduced rate ?
Usually £600 "ish" Currently @ £519 ?
Pete will do these @ £480 !
Bank transfer
Cash
or VISA
NO PAYPAL !
read the blurb,
Trawl through these pages to see what others say, I'm running out of Sh!te to say now so can a grown up please add a
"I'm In" type thing at the top !
As soon as we get X5 we can phone up and pay and start playing with ourselves I mean our cars
For those that do not know the BAS Re-Map interface also doubles up as a Fault code Reader !
I would just like to add the following link in an attempt to answer questions with regards to the interface
I would also like to add that with this interface it retains the map, if your vehicle is going to the dealers then you can plug in to your OBD2 port and grab the map from the vehs ECU !
That way when your ECU is re flashed it is not lost ! You plug in your interface and upload to ECU that way you do not loose your hard earned cash on a one off reflash from a performance package !
These interface kits can be re sold on this forum and regularly fetch £250 so that's money in the pot !
The interface is locked to one vin only, if you sell the buyer then gets a map from Pete at a cost of £150.

As said loads of times it's not a case of whether to remap or not, it's a question of which one!! Makes the car what it should have been, vast improvement over standard. Not used BAS (have had TorqTune for 5 years) but loads rave about it.

chalky, Thank you for the phone call we had regarding this offer. To make this a little easer to get 5 together if it helps they can be units for D3 2.7L TDV6, RRS 2.7L TDV6, RRS 3.6L TDV8 MY2005-MY2009, Freelander 2 TD4 upto MY2009
I will offer allong with the x5 orders a free TDV6 EGR blanking kit for those who need/want one as an added bonus.
As many know the blanking kit is designed for D3/RRS MY2005 MY2006 cars, some have fitted to MY2007 cars though I personaly dont advertise this due to some 2007 accepting it and some not.
PS, this offer includes FREE UK mainland postage.
Regards Pete

Roll on the next 3 takers that way I can start enjoying the benefits along with Sean !Only dead fish go with the Flow !
I have a remap from Pete I have had it a couple of years now and when I was up in Scotland a while ago site member Biffsun was asking about remaps so I told him to have a drive in my car and he could see for himself how it transformed the driveability of the car..
He wanted to buy my car there and then after his test drive..
Petes remaps are so smooth when you apply the power worth every penny especially at that price...
