Thats not a bad price at all

Is it branded or their own ? it will give you a good idea of what kind of effect it will give you in terms of smoothness knock or tappet sound reduced, I dont think you will be fortunate to see what the internal effects will be.

Mind you saying that mines a 57 plate 08 MY at 65K so my cam belt tensioner is living on borrowed time ! i should be looking at the inside of my engine any time soon !

It's branded as Carlube. Have ran a litre of Asda Jaso-fb through the last few tanks on mine. Seems smoother. Averaging 32mpg seems to pull better.

Hi All

just keep in mind, if your rig has a DPF, you MUST use Jaso-FC compliant mineral or part-synthetic 2sO.

With DPF JASO-FB AND JASO-FD oil are out!!!

Hi pantsoff

just a quick info for all members reading this thread.

For those of you who are wondering if their vehicles have got a DPF, it is actually quite easy to identify.

All CRD LR's fitted with DPF's will go into a regeneration cycle about every 600-700km's or when used with 2sO, about every 1350-1800km (yes you read quite correctly. the use of JASO-FC compliant 2sO double's the km's drivien between regeneration intervals).

This regeneration cycle is communicated to the driver via dashboard information.

Second question which D33 have a Cat; or do they all?
