Thanks Geoff, you beat me to it.
Quick note re Geoff, he understands the tyre trade very well and has a wealth of knowledge on all tyres, he spent many years in the trade and I am pleased to say still keeps his hand in from time to time.
He is always willing to help with any problem big or small. Top man.

Gosh guilty without being asked! It reminds me a bit of a story,
Young Paddy bought a donkey from a farmer for £100.
The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day.
The next day he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but I have some bad news. The donkey's died.'
Paddy replied, 'Well then just give me my money back.'
The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I've already spent it.'
Paddy said, 'OK, then, just bring me the dead donkey.'
The farmer asked, 'What are you going to do with him?'
Paddy said, 'I'm going to raffle him off..'
The farmer said, 'You can't raffle a dead donkey!'
Paddy said, 'Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead.'
A month later, the farmer met up with Paddy and asked, 'What happened with that dead donkey?'
Paddy said, 'I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two pounds a piece and made a profit of £898'
The farmer said, 'Didn't anyone complain?'
Paddy said, 'Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two pounds back.'
You sell loads of things more expensive than others, but you are wonderful because you give the potential for one person in thousands to get their money back DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Fair play for normal circumstances but as Andy is already aware that Brian has said in his post that Ken provided the tyre then I think it fecking stinks for him to suggest that Ken has a\ done something underhand or illegal by stating he is non legitimate and b\ making the suggestion that Ken cannot \ will not do anything about it. Perhaps it would have been better to wait and see the outcome of Brians enquiries before putting a slur on someones character.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have not mentioned any names nor that it is ilegal to sell anything on Ebay, just stating the facts on how a tyre complaint is handled which can be differcult if you can't find the seller as suggested by the OP.
Now he has had contact with the original seller, problem solved we hope.
I have not suggested that Ken cannot or will not do anything about this.
All the above DG are your words old chap.

If you buy tyres from a legitimate supplier they send them back for you under complaint, they (Goodyear) have the last word but are fair, this is all part of our service.
Sorry but "you pays your money and takes your chance"
I should add that I mean when buying from non legitimate sellers on places like Ebay etc.
When the post you are replying to is about tyres purchased on Ebay from Ken I'd say it is a bit disingenuous to claim that your comments weren't about him. I work in a business where what I sell is given away for free, but my clients know how that proposition differs to mine, I don't need to start slinging mud and stamping my feet in the corner and then deny it DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
