Has anyone tried or fitted the new style Goodyear MTR tyres?

Only on a mate's off-road modded Jeep Wrangler. He's very pleased with them and in comparison to his Kuhmo KL's (?) the side walls have suffered less superficial damage.
In 16" on the Jeep they do look great.
Wouldn't want them on D3/4 for anything other than extreme off-roading though.
