Cheers Nick arrived safely today and fitted just as quick anticipating a hot summer
Didnt seem to need the tray though cause its the same as the D4 but its all up and running.
The only thing i would say is pull the wiring loom off the first clip to get a bit of extra length so you can plug the coolbox in before you slide it into place other wise you end up having to remove it again as i found out
Does it only work with ignition on ???
A few pics of fitting on D4 to help you guys

It's a permanent supply so it will run with the ignition off. Now it is supposed to shut down with low battery voltage but you have to ask yourself... do you feel lucky? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I did leave mine on twice over night. First time it frozen the milk in there, second time I had LOW POWER MODE on the radio for a while til I restarted. Haven't done it since.
