My fridge arrived today only 24 hours after being paid for. Thanks to TLO for his speedy service and dudds for arranging the deal.
Fridge fitted this evening, along with replacement wiper blades. Think we know which will get more use this week.

Ok, step two is "Remove the floor console upper panel." - does anyone have instructions for that?

Remove screw & trim from under EPB & then pull off trim working your way round & easing up
You should then be able to disconnect HDC switches etc Cheers Ian

The alternative way is to do like I did last night:-
1. Wait until it starts to go dark.
2. Find torch with almost flat battery.
3. Remove Ipod & lead if fitted.
4. Look for securing screws inside cubby box.
5. As no screws visible decide to try and pull box vertically on the basis of something must move (nothing did).
6. Look at fridge and find where retaining screws must be located.
7. Remove facia panel (the upright black panel to the rear of the cup holders) by carefully levering it upwards.
8. Using long nose pliers and a tork screw driver, remove the 2 screws which hold the cubby box in.
9. Remove the two larger tork screws and chrome covers from the sides of the cubby box lid and remove lid.
10. Lift cubby box out.
11. Locate cable and plug for fridge (ask self why is the cable that short!)
12. Enter fridge in to hole with the fan end first.
13. Look for said cable and plug now lost under fridge.
14. Take fridge out again and find suitable place to secure the plug ready for conecting.
15. Put fridge back in and spend 15 minutes with long nose pliers and fingers trying to get the plug in the fridge socket.
16. Check fridge works.
17. Refit the two small torx screws and trim.
18. Wipe blood from back of hands, fingers, fridge, and trim.
19. Carefully squeeze the rubber grommet with ipod cable back in to fridge moulding as missed doing it when fridge fitted.
20. Refit the cubby box lid.
21. Start car and test fridge still working.
22. Go to bed wondering where to put the contents of the cubby box.
