A 2009 GS standard radio looks the same as a 2011 poverty pack AU version so I'd say yes. I found the only problem to be that the phone book lists by surname then first name. Which in my case meant the numbers I dial most are near the bottom of the list and scrolling down or up isn't exactly smooth. So I put those names in the phone first name only preceded with a full stop which then shows them right at the top on the radio display.

IndusD4 thanks for you reply.
I cannot get my phonebook to display, have to dial number each time, the number does display when dialling but this is not safe when driving. Anyone got any ideas what’s wrong.

Not too sure but I think your phone numbers need to be saved to the phone memory (or is it the sim card) to be able to get them to display on the screen. Try copying them to the opposite to where they are stored and see if it then works.
Nothing lost in giving it a try.

Have you checked the number of contacts you have in the phone ? There is a limit I believe of 1,000 contacts; though I could not find the reference this morning when checking the handbook.
I have a similar problem. In my case I can pair the phone and first time the phonebook appears and works fine. However, when I return to the car the phone book only appears randomly (or at least it appears to be random).

On my IPhone you could set in the blutooth pairing menu what phone book you wanted to pair. I created a new phone book that just has my fav numbers so you can navigate them easily on the poverty pack screen. Otherwise it's a bit of a nightmare as you have to scroll from the top every time.

Hi Disco4pilot, its a good idea. What a shame the system does not pick up the favourites list from the phone. D4 SDV6 HSE 11MY - Gone

Quote:They need to be on the phone ... Not the sim card
As we discussed earlier Wiggs, my Nokia picks up my contacts from both the SIM card and the phone memory and displays a double set of contacts. I have to delete my SIM contacts and only use the contacts in my address book, but these contacts are followed by "/0".
If I delete my contacts and use the Sim the "/0" disappears Not much use though, as I then have an empty address book and can't phone anyone
It would appear to be down to the quirks of the individual phone, I would have thought by now, that the bluetooth protocols would all be the same as an industry standard, but it appears that it is not that easy
Saying that I am still very happy with the D4 module

I use the HTC Wildfire S, and my contacts are in both the phone and on the sim card so I also have duplicates when I scroll through. I haven't deleted the ones on the sim - just because I feel they are there as a back up, but the car still picks up the contacts from the phone.
Under "SD & Phone Storage" you can choose either "All" or "Phone" to display but your HTC may differ and under both the "0" is showing.
Not sure if this helps or confuses you as I think I have just confused by self!
