genuine LR alloys have the LR logo cast into the back, along with the weight rating. Did those?
The reason I ask, is for Stormers (which those are styled on) you can buy these for the VW Transporter, but they are weight rated at 600kg

In hind sight I didnt really do enough background checking on the wheels which were bought new by a good friend. when I was present but believed the info from the seller.
They were described as Landrover spec and manufactured in the same factory but did not have the proper LR logo on the back.
They were weight rated with 920kgs and another symbol which I cant recall.
After they failed I did some investigation and they have thinner spokes than the originals and are lighter in weight. I have seen 2 other sets since one on a P36 and on an X5 and both showed signs of the cracks although none had failed.
I have to admit my vehicle does get driven fairly hard and tows heavy trailers but this still shouldnt have happened

I've just had a look at mine, and whilst not wanting to tempt fate, the casting (from you pic where its broken) where the spoke meets the center on your looks thinner, front to back (the depth of the spoke, not the side to side, or width).
Do yours say where they were made, as I was fairly sure LR sourced their rims from Cromodora in Italy.

Sorry cant remember if they say where they were made and I am away at work for another week but will have a look when I get home.
Genuine wheels are much thicker at the "neck" as you describe and where the centre disc of the wheel opens out into the spokes
They were sold as landRover spec from the same factory but this wasnt true.
All I really checked was the weight rating at the time and it seemed close enough. The cracks were easily visible on the other 3 wheels as seen below
