Mmmm, no in line fuses in the rear on my set up, unless they're so well hidden. I remember seeing them on the D3 but nothing at all on the D4!
Seems from posts 'over the dark side' that the 2011 RR Sport also has no in line fuses in the rear.

Two single fuse holders (with black caps on the top). I just popped the top off one so you can see the fuse inside.
12MY variant?? Definitely not the same as the kit I had in the D3 - there were a bank of fuses in that. Just 2 in this harness.

more info...............
whilst I think it would be nice to have some sort of indicator the driver can see to tell when ATC has kicked in - this isnt going to happen soon, however there seems to be loads on comments of caravan forums about ATC not working, and the main culprit is from loosing the 12v supply. This seems to be very common, and is caused by quite a few of the usual issues, bad connections in the 12s (and possibly now 13pin) plug, Bad or insufficient wiring to the towball (12v perm needs to be minimum 2.5mm cable), blow fuses in the car. All the things usually associated with the 12v Fridge supply
One suggestion, worth a small consideration, is to tap into the wiring that goes to the ALKO two colour LED thats on the A frame (the ones that green when OK, red when not working), and mount a green (bright) LED somewhere up on the front of the 'van (front window area), thats visible in one of your mirrors, so that you can see the 12v is stll on. Just a thought.

weve just changed our Twin axle caravan for one with ATC.
I never had any problems towing the caravan before... do I actually need ATC ?
even when we had a bit of a high speed wobble overtaking a few lorries in France - the D4 controlled it no problem.. and when I say high speed , I mean "HIGH" speed all down to not paying enough attention and accelerating up the hill to get passed the trucks before filtering right
whats the effect of ATC - is it noticeable ?Duncan

Dunc- how's tricks ? All well I hope.
You'll definitely notice ATC kicking in. You feel a pretty hefty tug from the caravan and a slight squat on the back of the disco.

Hi, agree with Madrunner,
Have only noticed ATC twice, once on the (now sold) D3 and once on the Passat
Both times felt the same like a tug backwards as if someone had put the handbrake on the van for a second....
Both times it was on very bumpy single track roads, not sure it was actually needed but it did feel like it pulled the caravan back into line
LED's still work and no fuses blown

My D4 also has those 2 in-line fuses in the trailer wiring loom. No info on what they are for.

My Elddis Crusader superstorm tintent is on a BPW V Tec chassis & tows an absolute dream far better than my previous Elddis TA Sirroco van on a alco chassis. Like al said why don't they put the led light warning lights where they can be seen from the driving seat. I think i am right in saying articulated lorrys fit the warning lights for there ABS on the headboard so they can be seen in the drivers mirror to let them know they are working ok so why not do that with the ATC Saves having more gadgets in the D3. So simple
