I quite like to show off the age of a vehicle, if you look after it and people know how old it is then it's a credit to the owner. I can't be doing with plates that have to have the vehicles name in, how many BMW X5, X3 drivers have this on their plates? Much rather spend the money on looking after what ive got than a bit of plastic.

I've tried offering my private plate for sale in the For Sale threads but no takers.
It's P9 DCO. It's never been on the car which is a 61 plate D4. The wife wants to put "her" plate on it and has more or less said I shouldn't have bothered buying her the DCO plate.
I have the Certificate of Entitlement. It cost me £189 plus the £80 assignement fee so I'd only be looking for my money back to get rid of it.
Cheers
Peter
