A jig saw with a course blade will fly through the ally plate, use some WD40 or similar to stop the blade clogging
This is a great trick if you find yourself in a wood with deep tracks and lets say there is a turn you want to take but you cant get out of the track you are in.
Drive 2-3m past the turn you want to take. Attach the rope to the front of the car, then attach the other end of the rope to something that 1) wont move 2) is located say 2-3m to the side of the place you want to get out of and in the direction you want to go. Then drive backwards and, as the rope pulls tight the front of the car will swing out of the ruts. Now do the same with the rear of the car and hey presto you are out of the ruts. What happens next is entirely up to you and the circumstances you are in.
Definitely a handy trick to know, works in forward or reverse, just make sure when you capstan the tree you wind the rope the right way round The End

Confirmed price is a bit more than I expected.
I have sent the company the amount of ropes we require to get a fixed quote. There has been an increase in the cost of both the rope and hooks. Also the prices posted above do not include vat.
I used a previous invoice I had in July to get the prices for the ropes that I submitted in the first post .
I have asked for more discount and have been told that the prices given are the prices that LR actually pay, so this is the best price we are going to get.
