They have supposedly gone through everything they did at the service and supposedly everything is ok.
I did wounder about the fuel filter which I am asuming is a genuine LR one.
I suppose I need to have a look myself - when the weather gets nicer!..so what can I fiddle with today that ain't broken ...?

There are several possibilities that come to mind:
Also the fuel filter you need to manage, you have the FHB-functioning? I read a case where the pipe which supplies the FHB was disconnected ..
I have no other ideas, sorry ...Marco.

I have gone through the items that shuld have been done at the service.
I has shocked to find that the diesel fuel filter had not been changed eventhough I had been charged for one!
I have now changed it, I don;t think it has made any diff...so what can I fiddle with today that ain't broken ...?

Mmm. It is the same company.
I did see the clutch and dmf, have pics that went the warranty company.
I was not impressed. Still not been back to them 'to have a chat'.
I am not overly convinced that it is an injector issue, but as there as no errors with the engine system it is which way to go.
The Land Rover diagnostic stuff I have will 'record' live data and all seems OK.
I was thinking that there is a possibility there could be a ink between torque demand and fuel delivery, the torque sensor being in the transfer box ..
I will wait for the outcome with yours !

Hi Ian
Does the judder seem to affect the whole car ? because a poorly adjusted EPB can cause this.
Andi.

Hi Andi,
I had ruled it out because when the vehicle is coasting, in gear or neutral there is no judder.
Only when you gently accelarate, say to keep at 70mph going up an incline on the motorway the judder is there.
The EPB has not been touched - as far as I know ..

Squeeky clean is the MAF sensor.
If I go for a journey then look at the 'live data' that is captured it is all within allowable peramiters.
..no errors, no odd readings.
All idears are welcome...!

Hi Ian,
I know it sounds strange, but vibration that is felt when accelerating uphill 50-70 MPH can be caused by an EPB that needs cleaning/adjusting. I note that if you increase acceleration the vibration goes away and this does not (in my experience) quite fit with it being an EPB problem, and that fact held me back from posting. However the fact that you have had many diagnostic checks done makes me wonder if it is indeed the EPB. There was a post some time ago describing similar symptoms as you describe and more than one member pointed toward the EPB as being the problem, I can only assume these members have missed your post. Bodsy has done an excellent guide to Disco 3 brakes.
All the best Andi.

Nope, I was hoping it would get worse then something would fall off/pack up, but it is still the same.
My plan is to recalibrate the transfer box, but it needs to be plugged in to do this, then change the EPB shoes and recalibrate that.
I also want to get the injector spill rate checked, even though the injectors are not flagging up a fault.
Ian..so what can I fiddle with today that ain't broken ...?

Have you ever resolved this Ian ? I have exactly the same problem since servicing mine yesterday and blanking the EGR's. As you say just feathering the throttle brings it on, coasting or booting it no judder. It feels like a misfire but I'm damned if I can find it
