Can the system be used with windows 7? as far as I know, the FCR can only be updated with XP.

sounds interesting, especially if it will run via windows 7 (or virtual XP). Might be interested in being a beta tester

land of confusion
can you send me one then I can shamelessly copy it in its millions
only joking, this "invisable touch" update sounds cool and looks like a cheap and practical way to re-enable my voice control without any "missunderstanding" as nobody has a faultmate over here I asked around but got "no reply at all".I have wanted to "turn it on again"for a long time. there is alot of excitement "in the air tonight" with this anouncement. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

Colin, sounds interesting and as always at the cutting edge of Landrover electronics. As with others happy to help on any MV beta testing.
Obviously some of us have spent a lot of money on Multi-Vehicle licences for your products, how will licensing work, would hate to have spent a lot of money on equipment and particularly software that will now be in the cloud etc! I trust some good strong security will prevent abuse - there are always some who will want to break, flout and abuse such things. Will watch the MV part with interest.
Have a good christmas (and all over in BBS forum/world).

Sounds great!
Being in Lapland way above the Arctic Circle it's a long way to travel to get things enabled! I've been meaning to phone Pete to see if i can remove any bits to post him to get things enabled.
Colin, would you, Pete or similar be able to use your system to do a re-map?

Being the proud owner of the FCR and having only recently considered a Hawkeye unit for that 'additional' functionality ( ) - yes please count me in.
Group buy perhaps

yipee, at last my mind is at rest that I wont slip up when talking to people that I have had this for 18 months along with another member I know off and we were swarn to silence for obvious reasons
I must admit that this option of doganosics is a very, very nice way to offer a more remote diagnostic service especially when some customers only need simple things liike 4x4 info or voice activation doing and dont really want to have a full system. Its also vey nice for customers who dont want a full time diagnostic tool and only need it from time to time to fix a particular fault or problem.
It was a weird thing watching my D3 18 months ago being controlled by Colin sat in my caravan, it was sort of space age technology as its thast far advanced from what I have ever seen before in the diagnostic world.
This is defendetly one to watch out for
laplander, yes my mapping will be possibile when the full functrions are available. Of coruse you do need an internet connection.

This sounds very cool.. being the owner of both the FCR and the service reset tool it never amazes me how you people engineer all this stuff and get it all to work.
I will be very interested in the final pricing of this for personal use
Well done - another good effort that makes life a little easier for us

I’ve recently bought an FCR and can see this will still be essential for those occasions when no internet connection is available.
However, I’m interested in 4x4 info and voice activation and, even in Oxfordshire, am miles from anywhere where this can easily be activated. This latest development would be the ideal solution to that problem. Count me in for any trials.
